The challenge: connecting two financial worlds
In the burgeoning sphere of decentralised finance (DeFi), the gap between traditional financial mechanisms and innovative DeFi protocols is a complex one to navigate. Our job with EURxb was to build a robust bridge across it, a way for traditional markets to interact with DeFi, and for DeFi to interact with them.
EURxb isn't just a digital platform, it's a sign of where finance is heading, with the stability and structure of traditional finance meeting the flexibility and innovation of DeFi. Our mission was to turn that idea into a digital experience that was intuitive, informative and a little bit exciting.
How the EURxb token works
The heart of EURxb is its Euro stable token, which at the time of the build appreciated at a minimum of 7% APY, underpinned by ISIN registered financial instruments. That gives you a stable medium of exchange within the DeFi space and an attractive yield, which is a magnet for both individual and institutional investors.
We started the design by getting a clear understanding of EURxb's tokenisation process, which is carefully built to make sure the protocol's bond reserves and the minted EURxb stable coin work together properly. The website explains this process clearly, giving visitors a window into the mechanics of the EURxb protocol.
The pilot bonds
The pilot used green bonds issued by MIRIS AS, a Norwegian property developer, and we have a project of our own for MIRIS if you would like to see that side of the story.
What we showcased on the site
One of the features we were really keen to show off was the partner programme, which opens doors for ISIN securities issuers to strengthen their secondary markets and give their securities a fluid market via the EURxb tokens.
Then there is the institutional DeFi yield programme, which shows the innovative spirit of EURxb by creating a pathway for institutional funds to step into the world of DeFi, with a transparent and regulated framework.
The 'Redeeming a Tokenised Bond at Maturity' and 'Discretionary exchange of EURxb for bond reserves' sections add to the practical, tangible benefits for both retail and institutional participants, and show the full cycle of engagement with the EURxb protocol.
Built in Webflow
We built the site in Webflow so that every page, section and element supports the core mission of EURxb, which is bridging traditional markets and the potential of DeFi. The interface is intuitive, so visitors can grasp the essence of EURxb whatever their financial know-how. If you are curious about the analytics side of a build like this, we wrote up how to set up Cloudflare Zaraz and GA4 on Webflow, and you can see the Webflow services we offer or more stablecoin projects we have worked on.
Working on EURxb was more than a project. It was a proper look inside financial innovation, and we ended up with a digital bridge that shows what is possible when the traditional and the innovative join forces.
