Royco Migration

Royco Migration, Recipes

Royco's recipe and product database was built in WordPress in 2016 and could no longer be maintained. Milk Moon Studio migrated it to Webflow near pixel-perfect, with no frontend changes and new backend functionality.

The original Royco recipe and product database was put together in WordPress in 2016, and the team could no longer maintain it.

Milk Moon Studio worked on a near-pixel-perfect migration that changed nothing on the frontend, but would add new functionality in the backend while a new site was being designed and built by us.

The challenge

The original Royco recipe and product database was put together in WordPress in 2016, and by the time it reached us the team could no longer maintain it. We moved it to Webflow, and if you are wondering why, here are 10 reasons Webflow works for Milk Moon.

The migration

We carried out a near-pixel-perfect migration that changed nothing on the frontend. Behind the scenes it added new functionality in the backend. If you want to see how we make Webflow CMS grids look custom, here is our post on a flexbox CMS pattern that feels custom.

What came next

While we migrated it, a new site was being designed and built by us, and the fully redesigned project can be found here. Have a migration of your own? Have a look at what we do or get in touch.
